  • 2018-2019 GROW YOUR OWN Grant, Texas Education Agency. Funded for $47,000. Secondary Education Program coordinator and supervisor of practicum student involved in grant.
  • 2012-2013 CONFIANZA Grant, U.S. Dept. of Education. Data Team Curriculum Liaison to work with administrators and faculty at Nacogdoches High School in using assessment data to inform decisions about ELL students. Funded for $1,988,947.
  • 2010-2012 STEPS Grant, The Higher Education Coordinating Board. Curriculum Liaison to Nacogdoches High School developing instructional strategies for incorporating the College and Career Readiness Standards for math and science into pre-service secondary education courses and into local school districts’ curriculum. Funded for $500,000 in 2009 and extended for $150,000 in 2011.
  • 2007-2009 Project English Language Acquisition Center for Excellence (ENLACE) Grant: U.S. Dept. of Education. Secondary Education Curriculum Liaison developing instructional strategies for incorporating ESL state standards into all undergraduate pre-service education courses at Stephen F. Austin State University. Funded for $1,434,109.
  • 2005-2010 Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) grant, U.S. Dept. of Education. Funded for $6.1 million. Faculty curriculum liaison coordinating electronic mentoring program between undergraduate teacher preparation candidates and high school students as part of a university-school partnership.
