First Year Seminar
First Year Student Seminar (RX4DX)
RX4DX is a seminar designed to prepare first-semester nursing students with strategies necessary for success in a nursing program. The purpose of RX4DX is to inform and empower newly admitted nursing students for success in nursing school.
This faculty-led seminar introduces the nursing students to course materials, department policies, organization and study tips, and time management. RX4DX incorporates interactive activities to promote engagement, such as a panel of current nursing students to answer questions and describe a “Week in the Life” of a nursing student.
