The Office of Undergraduate Research is seeking proposals from undergraduate students in all areas of discipline at ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ. Recipients will receive up to $2,000 in research funds and the opportunity to present their research at EXPO 2024. Submissions will be accepted until November 15.

Faculty members who teach first-year writing classes are encouraged to nominate one deserving student by Nov. 27 for a first-of-its-kind Compy Award. The LU Center for Resiliency has launched a new distance learning portal, , that will provide useful and critical information for preparing for and coping with the effects of hurricanes, floods and damaging weather. Three courses will be available with certificates and a disaster preparedness backpack, while supplies last.

Submissions will be open from October 15 to December 15 for Pulse magazine. Submission categories include: poetry, short fiction, scholarly essays, creative nonfiction, poetry in translation, and art. Submissions are open to all students, regardless of major. $100 prizes will be given for each category. A publication release party and reading event will be held in May of 2024.
