Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events
Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events

Date: Tuesday, Feb. 21, 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Location: Setzer Student Center Live Oak Ballroom

The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event.

Drop in sessions are now available for academic coaching with LU Success. Sessions will take place from 5-7 p.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and will be held in the Tutoring Center on the first floor of the Mary & John Gray Library.

Join Money Management Program with Laura Landry of Education First FCU for a in-person presentation and answer any questions that you may have about investing. Learn how to start small and what your investing options are. From Money Market Account to Cryptocurrency, IRA and 401ks.

The Heidi Chronicles

Winner: Pulitzer Prize, Tony Award. We follow Heidi Holland and her friends on a comedic and poignant journey from the 1960s through the 1980s as they try to navigate careers, sex, children, relationships and the role of women in a rapidly changing world.

National Stuttering Association Beaumont/LU Chapter Meeting

If you stutter, you're not alone! It’s estimated that 1% of adults stutter which equals 160 LU faculty, students and staff sharing the common experience of stuttering. Come join us either in person or via Zoom. The NSA plays a vital role in bringing people who stutter together.
