Building Antebellum New Orleans with Tara A. Dudley
Date: Thursday, Nov. 3, 1:30 - 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Location: Science Auditorium and Dishman Museum Auditorium
Hosted by the Center for History and Culture of Southeast Texas and the Upper Gulf Coast, Tara Dudley will discuss the architectural activities and influence of gens de couleur libres — free people of color — and show how they expressed group identity through property ownership and built culture in New Orleans. The event will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Science Auditorium and at 5:30 p.m. in the Dishman Museum Auditorium.

Extreme Weather and Inequality: A Day of Discussion

Winter Clothes Drive for International Students at LU
Led by Lisa Brown and the Order of the Daughters of the King, the Winter Clothes Drive seeks to collect and distribute washed and gently used warm apparel and blankets for international students. All donations can be dropped at the Entrance of the Honors College at the Reaud Building.
