More than 13 local farmers and vendors will come together on �Ļ�Ӱ��’s campus to share their goods, meet with students and create meaningful memories as the school year kicks off. The event, called “,” is put on by Chartwells Higher Education, �Ļ�Ӱ��’s food service provider, and will be hosted virtually by celebrity chef Jet Tila.  There will be prizes, games and shopping opportunities with the vendors. We will also have a specially crafted fall menu in the dining hall.

Tim Seiter will discuss the revival of "extinct" Native American cultures, focusing on the Karankawas and other groups of the Texas Gulf Coast. His work has generated wide interest and featured in Texas Highways, The Texas Tribune, Southwestern Historical Quarterly and Bayoulands.
