The Department of Art & Design will present faculty and staff artwork in an exhibition at the Dishman Art Museum, Aug. 13 through Sept. 10. The public is invited to attend and a reception for the exhibition will be held Friday, Aug. 26, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 12-4 p.m.

Due to LU freshman move-in taking place on Thursday, Aug.18- Friday, Aug.19, people traveling in the area should anticipate an excessive amount of traffic throughout the duration of both days on Jimmy Simmons Blvd. Plan to use alternative routes, when possible, to avoid traffic delays in this area.

President Jaime Taylor has appointed Dr. Freddie Titus as the interim vice president for the Division of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Relations. Now, as he enters his 40th year at the institution, Titus reflects on his journey at LU and how he plans to give back to the university that has made a positive impact on his life.
