Come and join us for snacks and refreshments as experts and local officials discuss issues regarding housing before and after natural disasters. As we enter hurricane season in SETX, important information about preparing for disasters, sheltering during disasters and clean water will be discussed.

After School Special: The ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ Fourth Juried Alumni Art Exhibition

Location: Dishman Art Museum

The ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ Dishman Art Museum is please to host their fourth juried art exhibition for LU Alumni titled "After School Special." This exciting exhibition offers an opportunity for LU graduates with any major from across the country and around the world to share their creative work at the Dishman Art Museum. The exhibition will run from Friday, June 24 through Saturday, July 30.

ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ President Jaime Taylor announced the selection of Jeff O’Malley as the university’s new director of athletics. O’Malley joins the Cardinal family after a highly successful 20-year tenure at Marshall University serving as the associate director of athletics/chief of staff and liaison to the university’s General Counsel. O’Malley will take the reins of ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ Athletics effective July 1.

Dr. Dann Brown has been named the university's next provost and vice president for academic affairs.
Dr. Dann Brown named Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs

ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ President Jaime R. Taylor announced June 8 that Dr. Dann Brown has been named the university’s next provost and vice president for academic affairs, effective July 1, 2022. Brown replaces Dr. Brenda Nichols, who is retiring from the position after 21 years of dedicated service in different leadership roles at ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ. The announcement follows a national search that began in February with a 14-member search committee representing faculty, staff, student government and the community.
