The Office of Undergraduate Research will host a ceremony to recognize the 16 awardees of EXPO 2022 conference in various research categories. Also, the O.U.R. grant recipients will receive certificates of completion of their grants and SURF 2022 winners will be recognized. Attendees are also welcome to participate .

ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ Department of Art & Design presents the Spring 2022 Senior Thesis Exhibition, Sonder, on April 29 through May 14. A student reception with light refreshments will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, following commencement. Admission to Sonder is free of charge.

RRA presents "Reducing Campus & Community Violence: Exploring strategies to reduce crime in Beaumont." Keynote speaker is Dr. Prater, a former dean of Southeast Missouri State University who lost her son in police custody. Special guest speaker is Sheriff Zena Stephens, along with other panel speakers.

Guest pianist Philippe Bianconi will perform a recital at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 5. The event is free of charge and open to the public. Works by Ravel, Chopin and Liszt will be performed. At 12:40 p.m. on Friday, May 6, Bianconi will present a masterclass for ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ piano students.
