The ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ Department of Theatre & Dance takes the stage once again with their final performance of the season, "Catch & Release: LUTD Student Dance Concert." The student dance concert is the capstone project for the spring 2022 applied choreography class. Admission is free of charge.

ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ Department of Art & Design presents the Spring 2022 Senior Thesis Exhibition, Sonder, on April 29 through May 14. A student reception with light refreshments will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, following commencement. Admission to Sonder is free of charge.

The Mary Morgan Moore Department of Music presents the Jimmy Simmons Jazz Festival on April 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the University Theatre. Featured artists and clinicians include Kris Berg and The Metroplexity Big Band with special guest Eric Marienthal. Admission is free and open to the public.

Guest pianist Philippe Bianconi will perform a recital at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 5. The event is free of charge and open to the public. Works by Ravel, Chopin and Liszt will be performed. At 12:40 p.m. on Friday, May 6, Bianconi will present a masterclass for ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ piano students.
